Clinics for Scorers and Officials - Save the Date for upcoming training

Dear Piranha Parents,

There are training clinics scheduled for the entire swim league through SSL. Most training will be done by Zoom with details available on the SSL website, https://www.sslswim.org, as we get closer to the dates. You know we can't run our swim meets without your help. Please consider training for one of these key roles this summer.Sincerely,
Joanne Grant and Kate Hryniewicz

NOTES:For the Referee Clinics, there are 2 parts to the class. From 6:30 to 7:00 PM the class is for first-time Referees to cover the basics. At 7:00 PM, the class will be for all Referees, both experienced and those who attended the first part of the class at 6:30 PM The first part of the Referee class does NOT count as attending a SSL officials class and those who attend have to attend the remainder of the class starting at 7:00 PM.

The Starter Clinic was suggested in the past for those officials who will be starting meets for the first time and would like some hands on experience before starting their first meet, or would like a refresher. The class will only cover starting and provide the opportunity to actually start some races. The class will be held only if requested and one of the member pools can make their pool available, provide starting equipment, and have swimmers their to actually do starts.

Please let Fred Polaski know if you are interested in the Starter Clinic or if you have any questions.
