Our family joined Persimmon Creek Swim Club in 2015. My husband, Drew, grew up in Arbour Park, and we decided to move back to the neighborhood to raise our family. We have four children: Savannah, Kendall, Ben, and Blaire.
Kendall began swimming as a Piranha through the Minis program. After taking a short break, our family returned to the team in 2023, with Ben and Blaire joining as well.
We love being part of the Persimmon Creek community and have made so many friends and memories through the swim team. Iām excited to get involved and support both the swim team and the swim club as a whole, and I look forward to helping create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment this summer. Go Piranhas! 
I grew up swimming for the Persimmon Creek Piranhas and spent my summers at the pool enjoying both the fun and competitive spirit of summer swim. In 2021, I was excited to return to the Piranhas with my husband, Alex, and our two children, Lexie and James. It has been special to watch our kids experience the same sense of community and teamwork that made the Piranhas such an important part of my childhood.
As a family, we truly enjoy being part of the swim team, from early morning practices, often led by Alex, to cheering on our swimmers at meets throughout the summer. I am excited to serve as Swim VP and to help support a positive, fun, and well-organized season for our swimmers and families. I look forward to spending the summer at the pool and continuing the Piranha tradition of teamwork, sportsmanship, and great summer memories.
