8 and Under Time Trials Information

July 18th

Hi families,

Here is additional information regarding the 8 & under time trial tomorrow night - 

Wedgewood Swim Club address is: 2 Wedgefield Drive, New Castle

Meet Time

  • Warmups will start at 4:15pm, Persimmon Creek’s warmup time is 5pm
  • Meet will begin at 5:30pm

Swimmer Drop Off

  • Parents will pull into the lot to drop off swimmers and tents/chairs

    Parking

  • All spectators and coaches will park in the neighborhood. Please do not park in front of the mailbox across the street from the pool nor in front of anyone’s driveway.

    • Admission

    • General Admission (11 & older): $3, with program, $2 without program
    • Ages 6 - 10 (without a program): $1
    • Under 6: Free
    • Program Only: $2

    Team / Spectator Seating

  • All teams will have a designated spot to set-up “camp” in the field behind our pool. We will have one tent for our team, please bring chairs to set up in the field. There is room for additional tents if you would like to bring one.
    • In the event of bad weather, we may need to clear the deck and grounds and have attendees wait in their cars. If this happens, please leave the tents in place for when the meet resumes, or they can be collected later in the event that the meet is postponed. We will be communicating with you through Swimtopia Alerts if there are delays.

    • Snack Shack

  • They will be running a full Snack Shack. 
    • Add Snippet
